Career Pro News' Labor Market Report notes that the automotive trade is now a hot market.  For students with just a high school education, the need for automotive mechanics - or technicians  - is growing, and the trade is requiring increasing technical skills, and good math and english skills because of the computerization of automobiles.

A website of the Sloan Career Cornerstone Center for those interested in careers in science, technology, computing, medicine, engineering and mathematics.  For students in high school, there is a pre-college section that provides information on how to begin preparing for these technical careers.
