Awards and Publisher Designations
Teens and the Job Game received the following awards since its publication in late 2007:
- Editor's Choice award form the publisher iUniverse – given to only those titles that have high quality editorial content, and receive positive book reviews.
- Reader's Choice award from the publisher iUniverse – given to books who have achieved a certain level of sales.
- Reviewer's Choice Award from Reader Views – ReaderViews.com is an organization of book reviewers that bases its reviews and awards on content/originality, presentation/design, innovation, social relevance, and production quality of self-published books.
- Finalist in 2008 Next Generation Indie Awards - The Indie Book Awards were established to recognize and honor the most exceptional independently published books in 70 different categories, for the year, and is presented by Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group (www.IBPPG.com) in cooperation with Marilyn Allen of Allen O'Shea Literary Agency.
- Honorable Mention in 2008 New York Book Festival Awards for Teenage books.
- Winner of 2006/2007 National Writers Association Award for Non-Fiction Book Proposal – An award presented to first-time authors whose work shows exceptional promise.
